JEWELLERY CARE

Your jewellery should be the last thing you put on each day when getting ready, after showering, and applying perfume, moisturiser and make up. The ingredients in these cosmetics can cause the stones and the metal in your jewellery to discolour and tarnish. Also, it is advisable to take off your jewellery in the swimming pool or when doing any activities eg. At the gym which will avoid it getting accidentally damaged.

We recommend storing your jewellery in a sealed, acid free jewellery box or bag. Silver, gold plated silver and gold will all tarnish heavily if constantly left exposed to the elements, but this can be prevented if stored carefully.

Stone set pieces can be cleaned with warm soapy water and a soft, old toothbrush to remove any dirt. Avoid emerging pearls in water for too long, or any corrosive substance as this will remove the lustre.

The plating on your jewellery may fade over time, depending on the frequency in which it is worn. The first resize for each ring is free, after which each resize is £30.

It is recommended for you to get your jewellery serviced every 1-2 years; this includes re-plating, cleaning or re-finishing. This service is £50.

Please get in touch if you would like to arrange a service for your jewellery.
